I use prepaid phones still. Usage-wise average about RM15-RM30 a month, and this is only because I took advantage of this awesome youth plan offer (that has since been discontinued, btw). Financially, this makes sense. I pay for what I use, that’s it. Plus, paying monthly phone bills are not exactly fun - I’d rather top up when I have to.
Usually I top up about RM30 a pop. But my mobile phone operator sent me a text saying that they’ll give me RM16 free for RM60 top up.
I don’t feel guilty about this because:
1) I will use it anyway.
2) It’s a good 26.6% savings.
Ok, fine, so I do feel slightly guilty still because, well, I don’t technically need to top up now. I still have a good amount of balance left. I’m basically hoarding credit lol.
